How much does a termite inspection cost?
We offer complimentary initial inspections for homeowners. For real estate transactions, we provide WDI (Wood Destroying Insect) reports — contact us for current pricing.
How often should I get a termite inspection?
We recommend annual inspections, especially in Orange County where termite activity is year-round. Properties with previous infestations should be inspected every 6 months.
Fumigation & Treatment
How long does fumigation take?
Most residential fumigations take 2–3 days. This includes tenting, gas treatment (typically 24 hours), and aeration. We’ll provide a specific timeline during your consultation.
Is fumigation safe for my family and pets?
Absolutely. Vikane gas completely dissipates during the aeration process. We perform clearance testing before allowing re-entry. Your home is completely safe upon return.
Do I need to remove food and medicine before fumigation?
Yes. All consumables, medications, plants, and pets must be removed or double-bagged in special Nylofume bags we provide. We’ll give you a detailed preparation checklist.
What's the difference between fumigation and local treatment?
Fumigation treats the entire structure and is ideal for widespread drywood termite infestations. Local (spot) treatments target specific areas and work best for isolated, accessible colonies.
Wood Repair
Do you repair termite-damaged wood?
Yes. We provide complete wood repair and replacement services. We remove damaged sections and install new wood that matches your existing structure, then treat to prevent re-infestation.
Is wood repair covered by insurance?
Most homeowner’s insurance does not cover termite damage, as it’s considered preventable maintenance. However, we offer competitive pricing and can work with you on payment options.
